Timothy Gene Ball

   Timothy Gene Ball, age 62, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, at Eaton County Health and Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte. He was born on December 29, 1963, in Charlotte, Michigan, to Harwood and Loretta (Parsons) Ball.

   Tim was a 1983 graduate of Olivet High School, where he also played on the football team. During his school years, he was a member of Olivet FFA, an involvement that reflected the agricultural interests that remained important to him throughout his life.

   Tim worked at Eaton Farm Bureau and at Peckham Industries. He also farmed with his father until his father’s passing in 1993. Farming was an important part of Tim’s life.

   Tim will be remembered for the things he enjoyed most and the enthusiasm he brought to them. He was an antique tractor enthusiast who collected and restored antique tractors, with John Deere being his favorite. He attended as many tractor shows as he could and also built quite a collection of toy tractors. He was also a real foodie who loved a good meal. Tim attended Brookfield Methodist Church when he was able.

   Tim is survived by his mother, Loretta Ball; his sister, Dana Ball; three great nieces; his special cousin, Mary Mogg; as well as numerous cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his father, Harwood Ball; his infant brother, Michael Dean Ball; and his nephew, Scott Ball.

   A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eaton Area Senior Center, 804 S. Cochran Ave., Charlotte, MI 48813, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

   Those desiring to make contributions in Tim's memory may do so by donating to Olivet FFA or to Brookfield Methodist Church.

   The family is being served by the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home.
