Sally Ann Geisenhaver, age 82, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 5, 2026. She was born on December 15, 1943, in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of Edward and Carrie (Heisler) Oberlin.
Sally will be remembered as an outgoing lady who loved visiting with others and sharing time with the people around her. She took great pride in her home, enjoying working around it and keeping everything in immaculate shape. She also found happiness in camping near Indian River and spending time on Burt Lake, places that held special meaning for her and brought her many cherished moments.
Above all else, Sally’s family was her proudest accomplishment in life. She treasured family gatherings and especially loved spending the holidays together with those she held closest. The time shared around celebrations, visits, and everyday moments formed the heart of her life and will remain a lasting part of her memory.
Sally is survived by her sons: Gregg Hall, Todd (Kelly) Bayes, Montie (Stacie) Bayes, Darren (Michelle) Warner; step-daughters: Nichole (James) Bennett, Heather (Jabarhe) Warren, Sonya Geisenhaver; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; niece, Lisa Clore; and several other special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandy Deupree; brothers: Dick Oberlin, Steve Oberlin; husband Brian Geisenhaver; loving companion, Kevin Place; daughter-in-law, Sherri Hall; and grandson, Greggory (Scotty) Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Riley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
