Ruth Ann Resseguie

Ruth Ann Resseguie, age 88, of Charlotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by those she loved.

She was born on July 18, 1938, in Greenfield, Tennessee, the daughter of John and Velma (Witherspoon) Rogers. Ruth carried through life a warm and welcoming spirit that drew people to her wherever she went. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. Ruth retired after many years of service with General Motors. She was known as an outgoing person who loved visiting with others and made friends easily. Her kindness and easy conversation left lasting impressions on the many people who had the pleasure of knowing her. She found joy in shopping and especially treasured spending time with her family and friends, the people who meant so much to her throughout her life. Ruth adored her dog, Cody. The two shared a special bond and companionship.

Ruth is survived by her significant other, Larry Uhl; step-son, Jeff Resseguie; step-daughter, Dawn Rigelman; special friend, Lanette (Don) Dendinger; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Buna Earls, Georgia Richards; and brother, Jack Rogers.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, 801 Tully Brown Drive, Charlotte, Michigan 48813 with Pastor Charles Jenson officiating.
