Roberta Ann Harris, of Olivet, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on July 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 84 years old.

Born on December 11, 1941, Roberta lived a life centered on family, friendship, and the simple joys that brought people together. She especially enjoyed the time she spent riding Honda Gold Wings with her beloved husband, Duane, creating memories on countless adventures. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Roberta had a big heart for animals and shared her home with countless pets over the years. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, sharing new recipes, and sharing meals and laughter with those she loved.

Roberta graduated from Olivet High School in 1960 and retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Charlotte, Michigan. She married Duane Paul Harris, her high school sweetheart in 1961, and together they raised three children who survive her.

Roberta "Bobbie" is survived by her sister, Hazel Neal; her children, Larry (Marla) Harris, MSgt, USAF (Ret.), David (Cindy) Harris, ENG (SW), USN (Ret.), and Todd (Kim) Harris; her grandchildren, Steven Harris, Kimberly Harris, Martin DeKorte, Jason Harris, Brittney Wesseling, Ashley Jameson, Gabrielle Harris, Faith Harris, Jacob Harris, and Jordan Harris; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Jo Denniston, and by her loving husband, Duane Harris, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Roberta's love, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of many people and she will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11 A.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Bosworth Cemetery.

Everyone is invited to join the family for a celebration of life luncheon which will be held following the cemetery graveside service at the Lee Township Hall in Olivet, Michigan.
