Randolph “Randy” Clark, age 67, of Springport, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. He was born May 25, 1955, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont the son of Kenneth and Darlene (Sanderson) Clark. Randy graduated from Olivet High School in 1973. He then went on to attend Olivet College where he earned an associate degree. Randy faithfully served his country in the United States Army. On August 27, 1976, he married Lisa Ann Hoberg at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in East Lansing. He worked his entire career for General Motors in Lansing and retired after over 30 years of dedicated service. Randy loved spending time out on his boat. He was especially fond of his time spent at Whitehall and Gun Lake. Randy and Lisa loved traveling together in their motorhome. One of their favorite destinations was Randy’s home state of Vermont. They were always in search of the next covered bridge along their path. Randy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lisa; children: Megan (Erik) Willis of Bellevue, Jacob (April) Clark of Dexter, Katelyn (Aaron) Aapala of Charlotte; grandchildren: Elliott Clark, Owen Larder, Cydney Larder, Jacob Clark, Ethan Clark, Henry Clark, Audrey Clark, Clark Aapala, Sophia Aapala; great grandson, Ryder Matthew Clark; brothers: Ken “Skip” (Jamie) Clark of Lansing, Dan (Kathy) Clark of Potterville. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Carl W. Davis. In keeping with Randy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.
