Paula Penny Granger

Paula "Penny" Granger, age 70, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born April 7, 1949, in Charlotte the daughter of Robert and Marie (Uhl) Harmon. Penny was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word. She adored being together and was especially fond of her children and grandchildren. Penny loved gardening, shopping at Goodwill, and collecting antiques. She was an outspoken and independent woman who was always ready to let you know what was on her mind. Penny had a heart of gold, especially for those with special needs. She will be dearly missed by all those that had the privilege of knowing her. Penny is survived by her husband, Bob; children: Shawn (Robert) Sherman of Phoenix, AZ, Shannon Granger of Bellevue, Brandi Granger of East Lansing, Bryan (Bonnie) Granger of New Bern, NC; grandchildren: Kirstine (Matthew) Duncan, Brandon (Aaron) Sherman, Gavin Bonney, Mark (Kailynn) Granger, Anthony Granger, Ethan Granger; great grandchildren: Kimberly Duncan, Peyton Duncan, Joey Duncan, Jaxin Sherman; brothers: Lonnie (Jane) Harmon, Dean (Cindy) Harmon, Dawn (Jaz) Morris, Chris (Lisa) Harmon, and David Harmon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bobby, Jack, Charlie, Byron "Tracy" Harmon. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 14,2019, at 1:00 PM at VFW Post 2406, 695 Lansing Street, Charlotte, Michigan. Those desiring, may make contributions in Pennys honor to the charity of their choice.
