Nina Anne Olsen

Nina Anne Olsen, age 81, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born December 10, 1943, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan the daughter of Byron and Lydia (Beyer) Hawkins. Nina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family deeply and treasured each and everyone of them. Nina’s faith was very important to her. She was a member of the Lutheran Church her entire life. In her spare-time she enjoyed trips to the casino, working in her garden, and hunting with her husband, Eric.
Nina is survived by her son, Richard Olsen; granddaughters, Erica (Chance) Parker, Kelsey McNair; great-grandchildren, Lexi Kelley, Reese Parker, Eric Parker, and Lain McNair.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eric; daughters, Carol Olsen, Diane Nash; and several siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 1 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Perry Cemetery.
