Martin Robert Shores

Martin Robert Shores of Springport, MI, formerly of Potterville, MI, age 65 passed away at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing after a short battle with cancer of January 27, 2015. Marty was born Oct. 10, 1949 in Charlotte, Michigan, the youngest son of Asa G. and Flora M. (Edson) Shores. He was a graduate of Potterville High School and was a resident there most of his life. In his free time he enjoyed model trains, computer games and the History Channel. He is survived by son, Jeffrey Shores of Springport; daughter, Robyn (Andy) Spicer of Springport; granddaughters, Paige Albert of Spring Arbor and Adriana Spicer of Springport; grandsons, Kiley Albert of Michigan Center and Zachary Spicer of Springport; two brothers, Gerald (Toni) Shores of Dublin, GA and Ronald (Becky) Shores of Los Angeles, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and special friend Connie Taquino. Per Mr. Shores prior request, cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
