Laura H. Hostetler

Laura H. Hostetler, age 61, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, May 22, 2026. She was born on November 26, 1964, in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Henry J. and Katherine M. (Schmucker) Mast.

She is survived by her husband, David Jr.; children, James Hostetler of Kenton, Ohio, Mervin (Emma Rose) Hostetler of Charlotte, Lucy (Nathan) Coblentz of Hersey, Michigan, Loretta (Sam) Hochstetler of Antonito, Colorado, Frieda (Robert) Hochstetler of Vermontville, Michigan, Leander (Regina) Hostetler of Charlotte, Michigan, Marlene (Loren) Miller of Vermontville, Ferman (Naomi Miller) Hostetler of Charlotte; 23 grandchildren; mother, Katie Mast; and numerous siblings. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry J. Mast; sister, Martha Mast; and grandson, Darrin James Hochstetler.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon May 23rd and all day on Sunday May 24th at the family residence 2161 N. Bradley Road, Charlotte, MI 48813. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th at 9:30 A.M. at the David Lambright residence 5723 Lamie Hwy., Charlotte, MI 48813. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery.
