Larry Dean Shepherd

Larry Dean Shepherd, born on September 23, 1959, in Marshall, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home in Charlotte on April 25, 2025. Throughout his life, Larry found immense joy in working on the family farm, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of rural life. In addition to his work on the farm, he took pride in his time spent in the construction industry.

Larry was not only a hardworking individual but also a passionate outdoor enthusiast. His love for the great outdoors was matched only by his enjoyment of reading, particularly the works of Louis L'Amour, which transported him to rugged landscapes and adventurous tales.

He is survived by his sister, Linda (Mark) Royston; his brother, Robert (Debra) Shepherd; his sister, Susan Shepherd; his sons, Benjamin Shepherd and Vincent (Sara) Shepherd; and five grandchildren.

Larry's parents, Thomas and Sui (Kabuki) Shepherd, preceded him in death.

Cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
