Jeffery John Kost

Jeffery John Kost, age 65, of Lansing, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1960, in Lakeview, Michigan. Jeff had a heart of gold and loved his family with a deep devotion. He was always concerned about the needs of others before his own. He enjoyed a good card game with friends and spending time together with those he loved. Jeff was a devoted employee for over 40 years at Falsetta’s Casa Nova Restaurant in Lansing. He loved his work and cherished the relationships that he had there.

Jeff is survived by his sisters, Sherry Hays of Charlotte, Billie Jo (Bill) Scott of Charlotte, Cindy (Ron) Colson of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Erlene Etherton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Kost and brother, Steve Etherton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at West Carmel Cemetery.
