Gordon Edwin Johnson

Gordon Edwin Johnson, age 86, of Charlotte was born into eternal life Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was born May 23, 1931, in Lake Odessa to Ernest and Zora (Ward) Johnson. On April 3, 1976, he married Marguerite R. McQuillan. Gordon was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every opportunity he had to spend with them. Gordon was a member of the Mulliken Masonic Lodge, Saladin Shrine Temple, the Eaton County Buck Club, and the Eaton County Fair Board. He was also a past president of the Michigan Association of Western Horse Clubs. Gordon enjoyed all things outdoors and was always ready for he and Marguerites next trip. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marguerite; children: Diane (Jerry) Baum, Toni (Steve) Wildern, Laraine (Randy) Owens, Marion Collier; several grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; and sister Marlene Colizzi. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two brothers. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 3 P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Charlotte with Rev. Fr.
