George “Bud” William Hull, 84, of Olivet, Michigan passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. Bud was born in Jackson, Michigan on November 2, 1930 to Bertha Beatrice Walker and William C. Hull. He graduated from Everett High School in 1950 and retired as a Journeyman Electrician at General Motors part of the Local 1618. Bud enjoyed coffee breaks, collecting die cast cars, fishing, camping, attending Olivet Congregational Church and spending time with the grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Sue, brother; Fredrick Dean and two granddaughters; Hope Magruder and Krystal Pierce. Surviving to cherish his memory wife Lois “Ann” (Hice) of 45 years, children; Linda Magruder, Brenda Hull, Scott Hull, Teresa (Jack) Pierce, Regi (Matt) Knoll, Gregg Butts, grandchildren; Aaron Magruder, Josh (Heather) Magruder, Nicole Pierce, Derrick Learned, Casey Brushaber, Katey Hull, Scott Hull, Bill, Curtis and Jeanine Pierce, Kassondra (Scott) Campbell, Mike (Meghan) Knoll, Kristy (Jacob) Walters, Bradley Butts, numerous great and great, great grandchildren, and sister Betty (Carl) Ludtke of Surprize, AZ. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Olivet Congregational Church, officiated by Pastor Jack Brown. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 at the church. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte or Olivet Congregational Church. With heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at New Haven Foster Care of Dimondale or Eaton County Medical Care Facility of Charlotte for the care Bud received over the past 9 months.
