Freeman T. Detweiler

Freeman T. Detweiler, 78 years, 4 months, 17 days, of Charlotte, Michigan passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his home. He was the son of Tobe and Lena (Miller) Detweiler. On February 9, 1961, he was united in marriage to Emma C. Gingerich. They lived in matrimony 59 years, he was preceded in death by his son Reuben Detweiler, parents, and 3 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Emma and children: Henry and wife Rhoda, Charlotte, MI, Johnny Ray and wife Laura, Charlotte, MI. Betty Marie and husband Edward, Cookville, TX, Sarah Ann, Jasper, FL, Andy and wife Roseanna, Garnett, KS, Robert and wife Michelle, Bellevue, MI, Martha and husband Jake, Maize, KS, Katie Mae and husband Ferman, Jamesport, MO, Anna Mary and husband Nathan, Chetopa, KS, Toby Jay and wife Barbara, Chetopa, KS; 37 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at 1 P.M. at the Alvin Mast residence with Bishop Alvin Mast officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at the family home. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery.
