Cora Suzanne Cain

Cora Suzanne (Susie) Cain went home to be with Jesus while surrounded by her family on Monday, June 14, 2021, at her son’s home in DeWitt after a short, undiagnosed illness. Susie was a devoted Christian and enjoyed attending Believers Christian Church with her family. She was tremendously talented at decorating cakes and was known for her many beautiful creations. In her spare-time she also enjoyed sewing. Susie worked as a school bus driver for Potterville Schools for several years and cherished all of the students who rode her bus. She is survived by her 3 sons: Terry and Sandy Cain, Greg and Cindy Cain, Kevin and Crystal Cain; 11 grandchildren and their spouses; 20 great grandchildren; 6 siblings; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Moore; beloved husband of 60 years, Russell Cain; and seven siblings. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2012, at 11 A.M. at her son’s home located at 14352 Myers Road, DeWitt, MI 48820 with Pastor Phil McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the house. There will be a family friendly picnic following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Believers Christian Church Food Pantry 10837 W.
