Blake Patrick Rankin

Blake Patrick Rankin Charlotte, MI Age 19, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at the Ingham Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Blake was born Sept. 30, 1992 in Charlotte and was a 2011 Graduate of Charlotte High School where he had participated on the Baseball and Basketball Teams. He liked hunting & fishing, especially deer hunting and was an avid water fowl hunter and enjoyed doing it with family and friends. Survivors include: his wife, Rachel (Ayers) Rankin; his parents, Barbara (Frank, Jr.) Silvas of Charlotte and Patrick (Susan) Rankin of Olivet; 6 brothers, Brendon Rankin of Charlotte, Easton Rankin of Olivet, Bailey Silvas of Charlotte, Travis (Carli) Silvas of Charlotte, Ryan (Vanessa) Silvas of Texas and Nathaniel Hayes of Olivet; Grandparents, Bruce & Mikayla Malcuit of Charlotte, Harry Rankin of Charlotte and Judy Rankin of Eaton Rapids; Step grandparents, Frank, Sr. (Cruz) Silvas of Charlotte and Dan & Bonnie Judd of Olivet; Aunts & Uncles, Beth Malcuit, Amy (Rich) Phifer, Charlie (Joanna) Malcuit, Brent Rankin, Chris Rankin and Aaron Rankin; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 from 3-8 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at the Charlotte High School Gymnasium with Pastor John Bailey officiating.
