Betty J. Blackmer

Betty Joanne Blackmer of Charlotte, Michigan, age 81, passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Betty was born April 20, 1936 the daughter of Walter and Beulah (Tiffiny) Johnson and was a longtime resident of Charlotte. She had worked for many years as a home caregiver in client homes. Surviving are: two sons, Harold E. Lassen and David Blackmer both of Charlotte; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and brothers, Bob Johnson and Dick Johnson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Harold Blackmer and son, Matthew James Blackmer. Cremation has taken place. A family Memorial Gathering will be held.
